Short History of Stroopwafels

Stroopwafels are Dutch pastry history of which goes back to 1784! Waffles were originated in a small town of Gouda, where simple baker made waffles and filled them with caramel syrup. Since then, Stroopwafels have been massively popular not only in Netherlands but in many other corners of the world.
